Two Large, gorgeous Aluminia Christmas plates with relief motives. Diameter 30 cm. Both are designed by R. Harboe. To the left Angel with bells from 1918, decoration number 1154/1020 To the right Maria worships child from 1912, decoration number 860/733. This last one is SOLD. Both are in a fantastic condition. In the 1880s when production at the Royal Copenhagen factory was dropping to a dangerously low level they were taken over by Aluminia (founded 1863), successful makers of earthenware, and since that time the two ranges, earthenware and porcelain, have been running in tandem.
